ACEP tPA Clinical Policy 2012 – This policy has been entrenched in controversy since it was published. Why? Well, largely because the evidence was given a stronger level recommendation than the data supported, conflicts of interest abounded, and the data (mostly from NINDS (The SGEM review), ECASS, and IST-3) were problematic.
